In 2009, as I was doing shows for an amusement park in Beijing, a contest took place at the park where I was working and I rode in it and won it. On that day I received a phone call from FEC and I accepted the opportunity to start riding for Fareast Cycles . Since then I've had the chance to see the brand grow and help it grow on the planet, see the quality grow as well as the engineering and ideas progress through the hands of the  founder ; Ashao. I can proudly say that the FEC product will soon be available on most continents. As FEC team manager, representative and rider, it's my honor  to represent and showcase the products around the World. I love to travel, see new places and meet new people. I believe Flatland will find it's way into the mainstream within a few years and Chinese Flatland will one day blossom and hopefully become as strong and well structured as the Japanese scene seems to be nowadays. The one FEC product on my bike I like the most is the Feather freecoaster; Lightweight, yet strong, smooth and without any play in it, the gap is perfect and the pedals don't engage without you wanting to, the hub clicks like a cassette when it engages so you can act accordingly and stay aware of the danger of cranks backpedaling and all that thanks to the clever freecoasting system invented by Ashao which allowed to lose alot of weight on the hub. What I like the most about FEC, is that the products are of high-quality, though affordable enough to make our sport available  to newcomers who might not have big budgets or even making it affordable in countries where they don't have a strong economy or dollar. I have strong ties in China and with FEC and wish to see more riders in China and in the world, enjoying flatland in the future thanks to  them. If the Chinese scene takes off, it might mean a greater future for the rest of the sport elsewhere as well. All in all we are all so lucky to be alive, doing well and riding our bikes around doing tricks.
